Matt Gomes, MA, PhD, MFT

Dr. Gomes earned a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from American Pacific University, a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from JFK University and a Masters degree in Education (Instructional Technology) from San Jose State University.

He is currently the Executive Director of Kiva Spirit Foundation - a 501(c)(3) non-profit company dedicated to low-cost health and educational services.

Dr. Gomes is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic. MFC46094) and a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (certified and registered by the National Guild of Hypnotists). He has also been on staff as a therapist at Tri-Valley Haven - an agency for domestic violence and sexual assault victims - and Anthropos Counseling Center.

He currently sees clients in Livermore, CA.

Lauralee Ragsdale, MA, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern

Lauralee Ragsdale is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who received her Masters Degree in Counseling from Cal State East Bay, Hayward. Since Lauralee is working towards building hours, she is able to see clients for a reduced fee.

Lauralee has the warm and inviting presence you would expect from someone who has spent 29 years working as a cosmetologist. She has an innate ability to create safety and invite conversation. Now she is combining her unique life experience with her counseling education to create an environment where you can safely examine your life and make the changes you want and need.

Michelle Malott, MA, Marriage and Family Therapy Intern

Michelle Malott received her Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from John F Kennedy University. Michelle is a Marriage and Family Therapist intern and is working towards licensure. Michelle offers a safe and non judgemental envirnonment for clients of all ages for indivuals, couples, and families. Through a safe and supportive environment clients can access stregths and resilience to decrease feelings of anxiety, sadness and develop healthy communication skills.
