Kiva Spirit Foundation
In 2000, Kiva Spirit Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, was created to provide affordable, sliding-scale health services and educate those in the community interested in healing techniques. The philosophy of Kiva Spirit Foundation is based on giving people the tools they need for their own health and healing. Educational seminars, as well as one-on-one counseling, are available through Kiva Spirit Foundation. Kiva Counseling Group and Dublin Health Center are part of Kiva Spirit Foundation.
Kiva Spirit Foundation offices are located in Livermore, CA, and offer services to the San Francisco East Bay, Santa Clara County (Silicon Valley), and associated areas.

Executive Director/Hypnotherapist/Marriage and Family Therapist Matt earned a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy from American Pacific University, a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from JFK University and a Masters degree in Education (Instructional Technology) from San Jose State University. Dr. Gomes is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic. MFC46094) and a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (certified and registered by the National Guild of Hypnotists). He is the Executive Director of Kiva Spirit Foundation and has also been on staff as a therapist at Tri-Valley Haven and Anthropos Counseling Center in Livermore. Nutritional Consultant Clare earned a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from Santa Clara University and a Bachelors degree in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health and is an associate member of the All Natural Healthcare Association (ANHA). Clare is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT) through the American Institute of Hypnotherapy. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and shaman. Marriage and Family Therapy Intern Lauralee Ragsdale is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who received her Masters Degree in Counseling from Cal State East Bay, Hayward. Since Lauralee is working towards building hours, she is able to see clients for a reduced fee. Lauralee has the warm and inviting presence you would expect from someone who has spent 29 years working as a cosmetologist. She has an innate ability to create safety and invite conversation. Now she is combining her unique life experience with her counseling education to create an environment where you can safely examine your life and make the changes you want and need.
